Quick Guide: How to Set a Live Photo as Your iPhone Wallpaper

These instructions will guide your users through the simple process of setting their newly created Live Photo as a dynamic wallpaper on their iPhone Lock Screen, all within the Photos app.

The 3 Steps to Set Your Live Wallpaper

Step 1: Open the Photo and Tap Share

1. Open the Photos app on your iPhone.

2. Select the Live Photo you wish to use as your wallpaper.

   

3. Tap the Share icon (the box with the arrow pointing up) located in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

Step 2: Choose "Use as Wallpaper"

1. In the Share Sheet menu that appears, scroll down the list of options.

2. Find and select Use as Wallpaper.

Step 3: Finalize and Set

1. The Wallpaper preview screen will open. Make sure the LIVE setting is turned on (the concentric circle icon at the bottom should be enabled).

2. Tap the Set button at the bottom of the screen.

3. Choose Set Lock Screen or Set Both (Lock Screen and Home Screen).

🎉 That's it! Now, when you hard press (Force Touch or Haptic Touch) on your Lock Screen, your new Live Photo will animate!
